INTRODUCING LISASARAH.COM – a true New Zealand story of life, love and stainless steel

Couldn't help but share this press release done by the fabulous Lou Draper from http://www.rockstarpr.co.nz/. Makes me sound awesome!!

The kiwi lifestyle often means time outdoors with friends and family so after a longwinded search for something to spice up Lisa’s newly landscaped garden, the artist was disappointed with the current offering. Having already designed a successful range of fabulously funky word art, Lisa made the decision to branch outdoors with her work – offering weather-friendly stainless steel artworks to complement her wooden word art range.

The range, all made completely in New Zealand and with New Zealand materials, now includes fourteen inspirational pieces. “New Zealand”, “Kia Kaha”, “Our World” and “Live, Love, Laugh” amongst others, are already hitting international success with sales in the United States and the UK as well as right here in New Zealand – “Queenstown’s Kapa Gallery included a piece for exhibition, the director loved the piece he chose and said he could have sold it three times over in the short duration show space – I was thrilled with that news” says Lisa.

Lisa Turley is also an active community supporter who regularly uses her good fortune to the aid of others. Her business lisasarah.com often donates pieces for fundraising efforts such as Starship Hospital and newly founded charitable organisation notforme.org.nz. She is a keen supporter of local kindergartens and also used her skills and time to assist the children of Newmarket Primary design the front entrance of their school.

“I am a Mum foremost, but have always loved contemporary art styles and found ways to keep designing while the children were asleep or at day care, I am lucky to have a supportive husband too, although I am sure he probably didn’t sign up to having our house covered in my designs!”
Lisa is excited about future plans for her design business, with hopes for representation in galleries overseas as well as further developing her client base in New Zealand.
